Myths & Melt
As part of the Council of British Archaeology Festival
Time: 10:30 to 13:30
Join art therapist Méabh Meir and Array Collective's Stephen Millar on 23rd July for a discussion on the connections between mythology, storytelling, social activism and mental health, in the context of their work with Array Collective in the north of Ireland.
Explore our 'The Druithaib’s Ball’ exhibition with Stephen and Méabh, and learn about the mythology, history and inspirations behind some of the 200 objects held within it. Find out the benefits of collaborative working, and explore ways to empower individuals, communities, and organisations in engaging with social activism to create positive change.
After the tour, Stephen and Méabh will lead you in a creative workshop where you'll make your own mythological talisman, using both your hands and voice.
