This video uses the striking image of a poster produced in 1968 to discuss just how Northern Irish activists were inspired by events and forms of action elsewhere in the world at the time. The unquestionable similarities between this poster and those produced in France are an excellent example of the international cross-fertilization of ideas and action. The video begins with some context provided by Dr Chris Reynolds of Nottingham Trent University before drawing on the reflections of protagonists from the time.
