This video brings together a series of short summaries of interviewees’ experiences of Northern Ireland’s 1968. As well as underscoring the exceptionalism of what happened, the diverse reflections of those present speak volumes of the ongoing challenges associated with dealing with this and other periods of Northern Ireland’s contested past. The video begins with some context provided by Dr Chris Reynolds of Nottingham Trent University before drawing on the reflections of protagonists from the time.
